iZon High-Definition Eyeglasses
If you wear eyeglasses, did you know that new high-definition glasses are available for much clearer vision?
iZon HD glasses are a revolutionary new way to improve the quality of your vision. For many patients, vision becomes clearer, sharper and more vivid. Individual patients have unique amounts of distortion present in their eyes. IZon lenses are custom created just for your unique eyesight. They are made to match your eyes so you can see better, especially at night, with less "flare" and "glare" around lights.
The Eye Doctors uses the patented and highly advanced Z-View Aberrometer to refract both the traditional measurement and, more importantly, the unique aberrations of your eyes to improve the quality of your vision. This innovative new instrument represents a quantum leap forward in the eye exam. In approximately one minute, your doctor has a highly detailed "Eyeprint" of your eyes,
an optical map indicating the microscopic irregularities unique to each of your eyes that may impact the quality of your vision. With this precise information, we create customized iZon Wavefront-Guided Lenses using Ophthonix's proprietary design and patented iZon lens material, providing you vision optimized in both distance correction and quality.
Thin & Lightweight Eyeglasses
For our traditional lens designs we use HOYA brand optical lenses. HOYA is a global technology leader with a rich history in optical innovation.
They create quality optical materials with unparalleled optics (the bending and shaping of light) and distortion-free vision quality. Lens materials such as Phoenix brand provide thinner, lightweight lenses with no distortion regardless of the prescription.
About Hoya Phoenix Lenses
Phoenix is the lightest lens material in the world. It also meets high impact standards for industrial safety eyewear, and features built-in 100% UV protection.
- Lighter, more comfortable glasses
- Superior impact resistance and UV protection
- Thinner appearance, stronger composition
- Designed to last the life of the prescription
Phoenix lenses are so light they almost float on water. With a specific gravity of 1.1 grams per cubic centimeter, the Phoenix material is 19% lighter than standard plastic and up to 8% lighter than polycarbonate.
The Phoenix material also has superior tensile strength, which is ideal for drill-mount frames.
Phoenix provides superior safety for the wearer, with impact resistance far exceeding FDA standards. It is 60 times more impact resistant than standard plastic lenses, and includes 100% protection against UV-A and UV-B rays.
Auto-Darkening Photochromic Lenses
Every time you go outside it puts a strain on your eyes, because they’re forced to instantly adjust to brighter light. Photochromic lenses automatically darken when you step outside, and constantly adjust to the natural light of the day.
HOYA lenses are available in Transitions®, the world leader in advanced photochromic technology. We offer a complete selection of photochromic lens materials, colors and HOYA lens designs.
Lens Treatments
Our Hoya SuperHi coating is state of the art to reduce reflective glare and help people see better. It also carries a 2 year warranty against scratching or failing. It is much easier to keep clean than older, less advanced coatings.
New No-Line Progressive Technology
For bifocal wearers, multifocal lenses (for clear near and far vision) are available in a variety of designs and materials. We have available brand new technology in no-line progressive lenses called free-form digital surfacing, which allows a wide field of view, easy to find “sweet spot”, and eliminates peripheral swim or distortion. The Hoya ID Lifestyle represents this new technology.
